The 2nd Biennial JMGA-NSW Members Exhibition
We're thrilled to announce the 2nd Biennial JMGA-NSW Members Exhibition will be held at GAFFA this November and we're encouraging all members to get involved in a weekend celebrating jewellery and objects with three great events.
All contributing artists will receive tickets for all three events with their submission and tickets will be available to purchase for non exhibiting contemporay jewellery and object lovers.

STILL LIFE DRAWING: JEWELLERY
Sunday 29 November | 2.30pm
Come along to a unique still life drawing featuring selected pieces from
JMGA-NSW's Flaunt Exhibition.
Explore the fundamentals of still life drawing, jewellery adornment and illustration,
presenting a sophisticated challenge for artists to explore and capture.
Your submission entry gives the artist a ticket to all three events –
the exhibition opening, the panel talk and the life drawing event. Friends and family can
purchase a ticket for these events here.

Delivery of work in person at Gaffa Gallery, 281 Clarence Street, is to be during business hours only in the week of Tuesday 27th October - Friday October 30th, 2026.

Pick up of unsold work is 2nd – 6th November during Gaffa Gallery business hours
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

You must have a current JMGA NSW Inc. membership to be included in this exhibition. You can be a student, bronze, silver or gold member. We encourage both new and long term members to join us in this showcase of JMGA NSW Inc. members.
- Entrry Fee is $50 and must be paid at the time of submission

JMGA NSW Inc reserves the right to omit work without prior warning. Reason will be given if requested.

Work must not exceed 30cm x 30cm x 30cm.

Only one piece of work per participant may be submitted.

Entry forms must be completed in full and submitted by 5pm, Friday October 30th 2026.

Applicants must provide at least one image (up to two may be accepted) not exceeding 1 mb in total. All fields in the form regarding images must be completed before submitting. Please ensure all work is photographed on a clean, white background.

Unfortunately, late entries can not be included.
DELIVERY
-
Delivery and return of all work must be at the expense of the artist. It is the artist's responsibility to ensure artworks are safely and securely packed for transit. JMGA NSW Inc accept no liability for works that are delivered damaged.

Please ensure enough time for the artwork to arrive by the deadline date of 5pm , Friday October 30th 2026 as no late entries will be accepted.

All artwork must be delivered ready for installation.

Artwork must be clearly labelled with the artist's name and title.
RETURN OF WORK

All artworks will be returned in their original packaging that they arrived in.

Return freight is at the expense of the artist. Please ensure all posted items include prepaid return delivery satchels.

Artists picking up their work in person need to pick up from Gaffa Gallery during their business hours from Wednesday 4th November - Friday 30th October. If artists can’t pick up work in person then return postage must be included when work is delivered.
ARTWORK

Work must not exceed 30cm x 30cm x 30cm.

Only one piece of work per participant may be submitted.

Artwork must have been completed in the last 2 years. While we would prefer new work submissions, we are happy to exhibit members' work that has been exhibited previously.

Display restrictions may apply due to the number of exhibitors.
SALES
-
Artworks do not need to be available for sale.

Artworks that are for sale, the price listed for sale must include 40% commission and GST (if applicable).

Artwork not for sale must be clearly marked as NFS.
-
Any work that is sold must remain on display for the duration of the exhibition.
COPYRIGHT
-
Copyright remains the property of the artist. The artist’s name will be acknowledged on any whole images used to promote the exhibition.

The artists agree to the reproduction in whole or in part by print or electronic media for non-commercial purposes and promotion of the exhibition, including marketing and cataloguing.

The artists gives JMGA NSW Inc permission to use supplied images for JMGA NSW Inc promotional purposes after the exhibition (including social media and our website) in whole with full artists credits. If you do not give permission then please contact JMGA NSW Inc.
INSURANCE

All care will be taken with submitted works; however, neither the organisers (JMGA NSW Inc.) nor the exhibition venue (Gaffa Gallery) will be responsible for loss or damage to works during transit.

Insurance of the work during transit is the responsibility of the artist.

How do I know if I am a member?
If you have been a memeber of JMGA-NSW then log into the JMGA-NSW website and check under 'MEMBERSHIP' to see if your membership is current.
Why won't my images upload?
If your images are over 1mb in size then they won't upload. Please reduce their size and try again.
I lost my submission before I could hit send.
Unfortunately you are not able to save your submission, so please gather all of your information before starting your submission.
Why do I need to pick a song?
We are gathering a playlist from all artists who submit work to build a soundtrack for opening night.
Do I need to buy tickets?
All exhibiting artists will receive one free ticket to the opening and the panel talk. If you would like to bring friends to the opening, then please purchase extra tickets here. To attend Life Drawing: Jewellery, please purchase tickets here.
