Following on from our first session, this meet shifts focus toward the broader context in which your work will sit.
We’ll spend time exploring contemporary jewellery within the Australian landscape, alongside key references from Australian jewellery history - considering how artists position their work within both current and historical frameworks.
This session will include:
A look at selected artists and projects
Introduction to archival references and Australian contemporary jewellery context
Group discussion around how these references connect to your own ideas
